When it comes to the HTC Trophy 7 Windows Phone it seems that this is a very popular smartphone indeed, but what is it like when it is put up against other top touchscreen handsets?

Well Gerard Campbell via Stuff tried and tested 6 mobile smartphones and has now picked his favourite, the six phones on trial included the Apple iPhone 4, Nokia E72, Samsung Galaxy S, Nokia N8, HTC Trophy 7 and the Huawei IDEOS.

He had to pick his favourite device and it was the HTC Trophy that won it for him, he went on to report that the Windows Phone 7 handset does more right than wrong and that Windows Mobile 6.5 OS is more business-oriented.

Apparently the Trophy 7 looks classy that comes with a great touchscreen that shows bright and vivid images and that the homescreen is very simple to use, and if you are into gaming you will just love the Xbox Live integration.

The only downside is that the HTC Trophy only comes with 8GB of internal memory; Campbell did mention that he was very impressed with the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy and would own either of them but the Trophy just beat them to the line.
