AT&T Worst Carriers, U.S Cellular Tops: Welcome Verizon iPhone
Nothing like a friendly battle between network carriers, just a shame AT&T came out worse across all subjects covering service and customer support and value, they did not do too bad when it came to the “texting” service category.
A survey carried out by Paul Reynolds the electronics editor for Consumer Reports said that nearly half of the survey respondents who used AT&T owned some version of the iPhone, well we here at phonesreview.co.uk says that it stands to reason that the Verizon iPhone will be most welcomed by all customers including AT&T customers.
The network carrier that came out on top was U.S. Cellular who runs across 26 states mostly in the South and Midwest, Verizon came in at second place and this is surely down to them gaining the iPhone in early 2011, the iPad that they recently started to sell and of course the MiFi 2200 Intelligent Hotspot. Sprint came in at number three, Sprint actually had a better score than Verizon when it came to terms of e-mail customer support, fourth place went to T-Mobile and many said that they had a poor service but they had the best telephone customer support.
AT&T responded to the Consumer Reports survey saying, “We take this seriously and we continually look for new ways to improve the customer experience. The fact is wireless customers have choices and a record number of them chose AT&T in the third quarter, significantly more than our competitors.”
