iPhone on Verizon or AT&T 3G Which Is Best?
Now that the long, long wait for the iPhone to come to the Verizon network is just about ended, many will no doubt be considering whether to switch from AT&T over to Verizon, and possibly thinking which carrier offers the best 3G network for the iPhone.
Obviously there has been much complaint over AT&T in the past with dropped calls and such, and according to an article over on Mashables, people have been asking them whether it’s a good idea to switch, but even more so they want to know the differences between the UMTS/GSM AT&T iPhone network and the CDMA Verizon iPhone network.
So the guys have come up with a short technical overview of the differences between the Verizon CDMA network and the AT&T UMTS network which you can check out by hitting up their website.
But to cut to the chase, here’s what their bottom line is…when it comes to dropped calls in general Verizon drops less than AT&T, although just how well the iPhone will work on the Verizon network when it comes to dropped calls remains to be seen.
Speed wise the guys say AT&T has a faster 3G network than Verizon, while when it comes to simultaneous data and voice, only AT&T offers the ability to talk and surf at the same time while Verizon continues to work on fixing that problem and hopes to have it sorted sometime this year according to the WSJ
So there it is, you can make up your own mind after checking out that guide whether you want to stay with the iPhone on AT&T or pick up the Verizon iPhone, or if you really want to get with the times you could always consider switching to Android and getting some 4G love which is the future of networks in the mobile arena.

I'll wait until Verizon fixes all the problems that will come along with their first release of the iPhone.
I'm going to wait and see what the Verizon iPhone 5 has to offer, if it's the same Apple proprietary lockins, then I will be sticking with a 4G capable Android
