When you think about purchasing a smartphone one wouldn’t necessarily think about Disney; however you may just want to do that in future as apparently Disney Mobile is to launch their first range of smartphones in February.

According o an article over on Ubergizmo by way of Akihabaranews, the new range of Disney smartphones are actually re-branded Sharp Galapagos 003SH handsets which sport 3D displays w and don’t require the user to use 3D glasses.

Furthermore the Disney Smartphones will run the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and sport a 9.6 mega pixel camera, Disney themed home screens, widges, apps and come with specially designed covers.

Also the new smartphones from Disney Mobile will come with a special @disney.ne.jp MMS address and a 3.8 inch LCD display. Unfortunately no word on any pricing is available at the moment, but are expected to launch sometime in February.
