Jeego iOS App Launched, Alternative Way to Send Greetings

In today’s technologically advanced world most either go about their daily routine either via a computer or mobile device, but when it comes to special occasions such as Valentine’s Day, people still turn to the old style of sending greetings, the paper card and rely on the postal service.

Apparently last year in Britain alone residents send a staggering 1 billion cards to their loved ones though the post which equates to roughly a massive £300 million in postage and that’s without the cost of the card.

So why not turn to your mobile device and use the Internet to send an electronic greeting card? Well there’s a new app available for users of iOS devices called Jeego, which has just been released, to the App Store for this purpose.

According to a recent survey in excess of 86 percent of British people are quite happy to receive and or send a greeting via their mobile device, and thus Jeego, an independent provider of e-cards has launched the Jeego iOS app.

The CEO of Jeego, Will Walsh says…“ We wanted to launch the app at this time of year to give people more options than just licking stamps and hoping for the best. Research has shown that people genuinely don’t mind whether they receive a card through post, email, mobile or social networks as long as it gets there on time. Our personalization service gives you the opportunity to really put something of yourself into a card; something that loved ones will really appreciate.”

With Jeego for the iPhone, iPod Touch and Apple iPad, you can make sure your Valentine’s Day card reaches your special person on time. Jeego e-cards can be personalised and are interactive and has the latest content and best animations such as Purple Ronnie, Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse.

With Jeego for iOS devices the user can also send greetings e-cards via Facebook and twitter and email. The Jeego app is available to download to your iOS device from iTunes and commands a price tag of $2.99 and there is also a free app called Jeego Lite.

And just so you can see for yourself what the Jeego iOS app is all about we have a Jeego iPhone App Demo video for your viewing pleasure below…enjoy.
