Verizon Samsung Droid Charge 4G LTE Smartphone: HTC Thunderbolt Successor
There is a new device by Verizon coming soon called the Samsung Droid Charge, also known as the SCH-i510; this is the latest 4G LTE handset that should turn a few heads.
The Droid Charge has shown up on the Verizon System and the snapshot below courtesy of Engadget clearly shows this, this confirmed smartphone features a front-facing camera and a Super AMOLED Plus display. Wonder if this new handset is the new HTC Thunderbolt successor.
Apparently the device will also come with Android 2.2 with TouchWiz, Droid-Life suggests that the new Droid Charge could have a April 7th launch date with possible pre-order happening this Thursday, fingers crossed.
At the moment there is no word on official pricing or release dates but we will keep you posted, could the new Samsung Droid Charge outshine the HTC Thunderbolt?

Samsung doesn't have to try hard to outshine HTC. Not with the Thunderbolt reported to have very poor battery life (6 hours at best) and the HTC doesn't support NFL Mobile.
I hope they release it soon……sick of Motorola just taking all this time for the Bionic….that and with Atrix voice issues????? Sign me up Charge!
Thunderbolt has wonderful battery life, and i stream, game and surf all day long. Just adjust your brightness, and not have all the bells and whistles on all the time, and it lasts 12 hours easy, and im still at 49% by that time.
