Android Gingerbread HTC Explorer Poses for Press Pic
Phones Review Quickie: Yet another new Android smartphone is coming from the HTC camp at some point in the future, a handset, which was originally known as the HTC Pico, but has now been given a new moniker and will be henceforth known as the HTC Explorer and is thus far an unannounced HTC device.
According to the guys over at Unwired View, by way of Pocket Now, the HTC Explorer is an Android Gingerbread smartphone, aren’t they all now until the Google guys push out Android Ice Cream Sandwich?
Spec wise the HTC Explorer is said to sport a 3.2-inch HVGA touch screen, a 5 megapixel camera, 600MHz processor, 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM and HTC Sense 3.5, and apparently looks to take over from the HTC Wildfire S, other than that very little is known on this smartphone.
Apparently the HTC Explorer should come out to play in both blue and black hues, but just when that will be and with which carrier or country remains to be seen and the same goes for pricing, but the guys do say one could expect the Android handset to turn up as a free device on contract somewhere.
However as HTC is holding an event it is possible we will hear more on the HTC Explorer along with the likes of the HTC Runnymede, or HTC ass if you wish to call it that then.
