iPhone 4S, iCloud, Siri Introduction Videos
As I am sure everyone knows, Apple has unveiled the iPhone 4S, no doubt disappointing for many as they expected a redesigned iPhone 5, which unfortunately didn’t happen, so instead Apple has the iPhone 4S for you to spend your hard earned cash on.
Thus what we have for your viewing consideration below is introductions videos for the three main things Apple announced, the iPhone 4S, iCloud, and Siri. The three videos come our way courtesy of the guys over at 9to5 Mac and by way of the Apple YouTube page of course.
The iPhone 4S intro video lasts a tad over five minutes and well basically is all about Apple selling the un-redesigned iPhone 4S to their following, and touting such things as the A5 processor, the camera, iOS 5 and iCloud, and Greg Joswiak says “how do you improve on something that’s so extraordinary? Well with iPhone 4S we did exactly that. By taking this amazing design, and completely rethinking the inside.”
So Apple has redesigned the iPhone but not in the way most wanted them too, as the iPhone 4S looks exactly the same as the current iPhone 4, and to some the visual design of the iPhone 4 is now old and tired, so maybe Apple has made a little mistake in not delivering a completely redesigned iPhone 5.
The next video is about the Siri feature whereby the user speaks aloud instructions to the smartphone and Siri responds, I won’t go into detail here, as I’m sure you’d rather check out the footage below to get an idea on how it works.
The final video introduces iCloud, and again I’m pretty sure most already know all about iCloud considering the amount of coverage it has already received, so will again just let you check out the footage below.
I spent a little time during the Apple event and after watching reactions on Google+, and I got the feeling that for most there is a sense that Apple has let them down with a mediocre launch of a device that doesn’t quite meet with expectations. What do you think?
If you have enjoyed this Phones Review article feel free to add me your circles on Google+ and I will of course add you back.
