Motorola Droid 4 release date countdown
The new Motorola Droid 4 is now showing up on a Verizon System, as well as in Device Manager. This could be released sooner than we think, cannot see it coming this side of the year, but early 2012 seems promising.
The DROID 4 was first spotted over on Droid-Life, it has been suggested to hold the name Motorola Droid Maserati, but know one is too sure about the official name as of yet. This slider smartphone with physical keyboard looks like a winner, come on Verizon give us a December release.
Main Features include: 4-inch screen, hopefully a Super AMOLED Advanced display, Full 5-row “illuminated” keyboard, 1080p video recording possibly with 8MP, RAZR styling, Non-removable battery, 4G LTE, MotoACTV syncing, Android 2.3.5, Front camera, HDMI out, it should come with at least 1.2GHz OMAP4430 processor like the Droid Razr.
Verizon could release the Motorola Droid 4, and the Xoom tablets before Christmas nothing is impossible. This is where we ask our readers for their Droid 4 release date countdown guess.

Hurry Moto give us the release date!!! I hope this phone bumps up the processer and RAM and a super ammoled display!!! This is the Droid I been waiting for. Time to put my Bionic to rest. I do miss the QWERTY slideout keyboard. I use to own the Droid 1 and that keyboard was small and difficult to type.
Finally a phone worthy of replacing my Droid 1……Thank you verizon….
Not really. The battery is non-removable. A 4G phone with a non-removable battery? What were you thinking Motorola??? If this had a removable battery, it would replace my Droid 1. Still waiting I’m afraid…
Help me understand. Why is it important to have a removable battery?
If you have heavy usage thru the day like I do. I need 2 sometime 3 batteries a day. So this phone would work for me.
Joe, you must be so accustomed to having to remove your battery from your unstable, rooted Droid 1 whenever it locked-up. LOL! Dude, stable dual-core smart phones with smarter battery and power systems no longer need those battery pull shenanigans of the past.   Â
ill second this!
I’ve been waiting for a QWERTY DROID with LTE since Jan of this year. Gimme… now!
Without the ALT key and way to remove the battery, how does one reboot the thing when it acts up?
the power button on top? If you want to reboot any android phone just hold the power button for 10 seconds…
hold the volume button with the power button at the same time..it will reboot the phone
Who uses Caps Lock?? Why not a menu button… and what’s with “OK” how about home or back keys
Can’t believe how big caps lock is that’s just dumb
I USE CAPS LOCKS A LOT SO I REALLY APPRECIATE THE GIGANTIC CAPS LOCK BUTTON. SO THERE!
Um, can’t you just double press the shift key… what’s wrong woth that??
It is the largest key on the keyboard besides enter!!
WTF
i just got the droid 3 and now i WANTS THIS PHONE GIMMMMMMMA I WANTS I WANTS
So is this one going to finally have LTE? I thought that would have been included in the droid 3.
I have the D3 and really wanted this phone. But (I my opinion) , then I see my keyboard is alot better than the D4 one. 4G is an overused term, I think it is overrated. I am content with my phone. I won’t be paying to get a battery fixed. 3G works perfect for me.
Android 2.3.5? Wheres ICS?
Where is the alt key? How to shortcut to end of line of text? I agree Caps Lock is a waste of space, just make double tap on shift and put back alt key
