So what do you know, it appears old LG has something exciting up their sleeve this December, as the word is LG is holding an even on the 1st of December and has sent out invites to the exclusive event although unfortunately that invite doesn’t actually let on what LG has in store for the mobile space come December.

However according to the guys over at Engadget, this LG exclusive launch event on December 1 has something to do with the LG Nitro HD as LG happened to leave the name of the image file open to Engadget’s prying eyes.

As for that LG Nitro HD, well obviously LG is keeping under their hat, but the device has been previously rumoured to be the LG Optimus LTE for AT&T with specs such as a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.5-inch 720p HD 1280×720 display, it also comes with an 8MP camera, AT&Ts 4G LTE network support, microSD card storage, 4GB of internal storage, Android Gingerbread operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update will come in the future for this device.

So perhaps we could be seeing the LG Nitro HD launching on the AT&T network as of the 1st of December and in time for the Christmas rush, then again perhaps LG also has something new up their sleeve, but one thing is for sure, we’ll all find out come week Thursday.
