HP TouchPad on sale again as of 11th Dec
Well now if you missed out the last time HP put up the webOS packing HP TouchPad at an unbelievably low price of just $99 and thought you’d not get another opportunity to snap up the slate for that low price, well you can think again because the HP TouchPad is going up for sale one last time.
According to the guys over at Ubergizmo, by way of Tech Crunch an HP internal email sent to employees, which has it that the HP TouchPad sale will take place on the HP eBay store at 6PM Central Time on the 11th of December.
However, initial sales will go to HP employees exclusively and if there are any of the webOS slates left they will be offered to the public with the price for the TouchPad tablet remaining the same as before, $99 for the 16GB slate and $149 for the 32GB version.
Apparently the major catch is that the remaining tablets will be refurbished models so may not be to everyone’s liking of course.
The sale is only available via the HP eBay store and is limited to two HP TouchPad units per customer and it appears payment for the devices is via PayPal only.
Apparently the reason behind this final HP TouchPad sale is that HP wants more option on the webOS platform before deciding on whether the platform will finally receive the chop or not and be consigned to the mobile bin.
So there you go, if you did miss out on the last HP TouchPad sale you now have one more opportunity to snap up the tablet before it vanishes for good. So will any of our readers be hitting up that sale to grab the HTC TouchPad?

Eerrr. Why is this on a UK site?
“However, initial sales will go to HP employees exclusively “- clearly not because IDIOTS like you continue to let out the info that was EXCLUSIVELY FOR EMPLOYEES. I highly doubt any employees got their hands on a touchpad.
