New Galaxy Note battery ups by double

We’ve covered the new Samsung Galaxy Note on a handful of occasions including in December, when we spoke about the possibility that the new smartphone/tablet device could be coming sometime this year to carrier AT&T.

The South Korean company Samsung have bought out some impressive devices in the last year including the Galaxy S II, Nexus and of course the new Note running on what is hoped to be the new Android ICS 4.0 OS. It already includes impressive features such as a massive 5.3-inch display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 8MP camera with 1080p HD video recording, 2MP to the front and 2500mAh battery.

What caught our eye is that thanks to Mugen Power, the battery life for the Galaxy Note can be upped to that of 4500mAh, alongside the benefit of the smartphone enjoying a replacement battery cover and built-in kickstand.

According to androidcommunity.com, the news is hoped to open a new door for users who felt that the Galaxy Note lacked in the juice department. The new add-on is available in black, red and white for a price of $109.

Is it really right when you’ve chosen your device, you immediately have to think about an accessory to make it a more usable option?
