Android Jelly Bean 5.0 release with switchable dual-boot

Calling out to all you sweet tooth lovers of the Android variety, it is that time to give you the latest news on the Jelly Bean flavour. At last some new evidence of the Android Jelly Bean 5.0 OS. Nothing is official at the moment but we are a few steps closer to reality, and below is some very interesting tit-bits but the operating system.

Android 5.0 aka Jelly Bean is the next OS after Ice Cream Sandwich, rumour or not, but if the Taiwan suppliers to DIGITIMES is correct then we can see some new developments that will win a few hearts. Apparently’ and we use this word strongly is the hope that Jelly Bean will be more optimised for tablets rather than phones, this is simply down to apparent elements of the Chrome OS, if this is the truth then you can expect to see switchable dual-boot.

If dual-boot does come into play, users will be able to switch between Windows or Android, without the need of shutting down the device.

Another mystery, is the question of Jelly Bean releasing before the upcoming Windows 8, which has a release slot of quarter 3 of 2012, and there is reason to believe if sources are correct that Android Jelly Bean 5.0 OS will release in the second quarter, now this is what we call the Windows 8 vs Jelly Bean release race, place you commenting bets now.

Electronista hopes to see the Apple iPad blown out of the window if Android Jelly Bean 5.0 comes with dual-booting systems simultaneously, what do you think? Why we are on the subject of Jelly Bean, you may want to check out the new collectibles coming soon.
