The way mobile technology has evolved in recent times it now means many families have numerous devices under one roof, which can mean having a few different sometimes expensive monthly call plans. Today we have news of some Rogers freebies that are being offered on family voice and data plans.

Many people now feel that staying connected to friends and family is really important, and by having the right plan for our cell phones can be equally as important. The carrier has a variety of call plans available to users and from yesterday they are offering a nice freebie for new customers thinking of joining the network.

Between April 10th and May 21st new customers who decide to activate two new smartphones with a family voice and data plan and on a three year contract, or even existing users that move to a family voice and data plan on a three year contract will be eligible for the freebies.

The free stuff that Rogers is giving away includes a Microsoft Xbox 360 with Kinect motion controller with Rogers Anyplace TV. Also part of the deal is one month’s free membership of Xbox Live Gold and a free copy of the Kinect Adventures Game.

If you are already a Rogers family plan member but would still like a free Xbox 360, then to be eligible you can take advantage of this offer by adding a new smartphone to your family voice and data plan with a three year contract. If you would like the offer without a family plan the carrier will let you purchase an Xbox 360 with Kinect for only $149.99 as long as you activate a new smartphone on a three year contract.
