Jelly Bean features Easter egg: video
You no doubt are aware that during Google I/O 2012 in San Francisco, the Google guys introduced the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and keeping with tradition, it appears the Google guys have placed an Easter egg in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and you can check out that Easter egg in the video below.
The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Easter egg footage comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of the Engadget guys who found the Easter egg inside Android Jelly Bean just like there have been in previous Android OS versions.
In Android 2.3 Gingerbread the Easter egg was ‘zombie art’, whilst in Android 2.3 Honeycomb there was a bee, whilst in Android Ice Cream Sandwich there was a growing Android robot dressed as an Ice Cream Sandwich.
Basically what you do is go into Settings, hit About Phone, and tap on the Android version number you’ll discover the Easter egg, and if you long press the screen you are delivered a screen that is filled with floating jelly beans that see fit for all eternity if desired.
And that’s basically it, no doubt once Android Jelly Bean hits the mobile space many of the Android faithful will be flicking those jelly beans to waste a little time when bored, so until you can, you can head on down and mash that play button to check out the Android Jelly Bean Easter egg in action…enjoy.
