Huawei Ascend P1 heading for Canada
For those over in the great white of Canada, it appears that you will this summer be gaining the Huawei Ascend P1 smartphone, and the word is Wind Mobile will be offering the Android ICS packing Huawei Ascend P1 sometime soon, although an exact release date for the handset hasn’t been announced.
According to the guys over at Unwired View, by way of Mobile Syrup, Huawei Canada announced that the Huawei Ascend P1 would be coming to Canada via Wind Mobile by way of a press release promoting the Wind Mobile Expendables 2 Sweepstakes that start as of the 9th of this month and end on the 23rd.
Apparently the winner of the sweepstakes will receive an Huawei Ascend P1 handset along with 2-months free service, and the winner and a guest will fly to LA for the Hollywood premier of The Expendables 2.
So if you are over in Canada and interested in the Huawei Ascend P1, the handset offers a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD touch screen powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor, an 8 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash, 1080p video, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm jack, microSD expansion up to 32GB and runs the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
However, unfortunately when it comes to what the Huawei Ascend P1 will hit your pocket for when it becomes available from Wind Mobile, Huawei hasn’t disclosed that little piece of information.
