Galaxy Note 10.1 root tutorial video
Earlier this week Samsung officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and since then the mobile space has also learnt that Sammy will deliver an LTE version as well for other markets, and now it appears that rooting the Samsung Galaxy Not 10.1 has already been accomplished, and we have video evidence of that for your viewing consideration below.
After gaining root on your 10.1-inch Android Ice Cream Sandwich Note you will be able to run applications that otherwise wouldn’t normally run, along with enabling the user to tweak the default OS by replacing with a custom ROM. And the video footage below, which comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo, and by way of Rootgalaxynote.com, is a tutorial on how to gain root on the device.
The whole process of rooting the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is said to take about twenty minutes in addition to downloading the necessary ODIN file along with the stock ROM, and full step by step instructions can also be found by hitting up their website.
Naturally it goes without saying that you should take the precaution to back up all your important data just in case things should happen to go awry, and of course you do so at your own risk.
Apparently the rooting method will give you root on the Galaxy Note 10.1, and you will still be able to receive over the air updates after rooting, and the method works by injecting root to an official Samsung firmware, so will not increase binary count, and as such should be able to unroot fairly easily.
Anyway for those that own a Samsung galaxy Note 10.1 and enjoy tinkering with their device, and wish to give it a go, head on down and mash that play button to see how it is all done, and if you give it a whirl feel free to let us know how it all goes.
