Sony Xperia J handled on video at IFA 2012

A while back we posted an article concerning the Sony Xperia J smartphone, a low to mid-range Android ICS handset, and during IFA 2012 in Berlin Sony had their Xperia line of devices on show, and one of those Xperia handsets was the Sony Xperia J, and we have a little hands on video footage with the device for your viewing consideration below.

The Sony Xperia J hands-on video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Pocket Now who attended IFA 2012 in Berlin and managed to gain a little hands-on playtime with the Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone which wa amongst three Xperia devices announced during the event.

Spec wise the Sony Xperia J offers the user a 4-inch FWVGA touch screen along with a 5 megapixel rear facing camera, a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A single core processor, 4GB internal storage, DNLA, microSD expansion up to 32GB, runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sony’s propriety UI, and is just 9.22mm thick.

Other specs include a VGA front facing camera, WiFi hotspot functionality, 3.5mm jack, a 1750mAh battery, music unlimited service, and xLOUD Sony audio technology, and measures 124.3 x 61.2 x 9.2mm with a weight of 124 grams.

The guys say that the Sony Xperia J features a nice soft touch finish, feels pretty substantial in the hand, is lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap.

So there you have it, no word yet just when the Sony Xperia J is expected to become available other than the previously mentioned Q3, and obviously no word on a price tag for the Xperia J. So all you need to do now is head on down to hit that play button and check out the hands-on footage with the Sony Xperia J…enjoy.
