Verizon Samsung Galaxy Stellar available online September 6

Over in the good old US of A, the Big Red will soon be offering the Samsung Galaxy Stellar, and recently we reported that Best Buy leaked the price of the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Stellar stating the Android smartphone would cost 99-bucks on contract. However we now have the official price for the device from Verizon, which shows the handset will be offered for less that that 99-bucks.

According to an article over on Droid-life, both Verizon and Samsung have announced the Samsung Galaxy Stellar will become available for purchase on the Big Red as of tomorrow the 6th of September, and will be available to purchase online as a free smartphone after a 50-buck mail in rebate based on a new two-year agreement.

For those Android faithful that are considering picking up the Samsung Galaxy Stellar from Verizon you will require a subscription to a Verizon data plan such as a Share Everything Plan that enables customers to add the Galaxy Stellar to their account for 40-bucks per month access.

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy Stellar offers the customer a 4-inch WVGA touch screen along with a 3.2 rear facing auto-focus camera, a 1.3 megapixel front facing snapper, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon dual core processor, WiFi, 4G LTE connectivity, Google services, Amazon apps including Kindle, Zappos, IMDB, Audible, along with Backup Assistant Plus, and microSD expansion up to 32GB.

The Android Ice Cream Sandwich Galaxy Stellar features a dual interface, a Standard Mode that looks and feels just like Android along with Samsung TouchWiz UI, and Starter Mode, that offers a simplified home screen with pre-set widgets like settings, favourite contacts, favourite apps, and a quick dialler icon.

So there you have it, if you have been waiting to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Stellar from Verizon you will be able to do so online as of tomorrow. Will any of our US readers be grabbing this Android smartphone?
