At Phones Review we’re still attempting to bring you plenty of news from CES 2013 and there are so many new devices being announced, many of which we’ve already told you about. Now we have news of two new Asus Android devices, one of which is the Transformer AiO hybrid all-in-one PC with a mammoth detachable tablet and the other the Qube Google TV box.

We’ll start off with the Transformer AiO all-in-one Windows 8 PC that’s due for release in Q1 so could be available very soon. We referred to this as a hybrid not only because it’s a PC /tablet but also because the Transformer AiO can boot Android or Windows 8 operating systems. When used as a full PC the AiO uses an Intel Core third-generation processor with NVIDIA GT730M graphics. The 18.4-inch Full HD IPS display has 178-degree wide viewing angles, ideal for media enjoyment, and also touts Asus SonicMaster audio technology.

When detaching the tablet from the dock users will have a huge tablet running the Android or Windows operating system, particularly useful for different requirements. For instance the tablet can make use of Wireless Remote Desktop technology connecting it to the PC station to use Windows 8 via the multi-touch display. If you’d rather use it as a self-contained unit it runs Android 4.1 and uses an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. It also has a handy carrying handle and built-in stand for easy viewing.

Moving on to the Qube Google TV box, a standalone unit connecting to your TV. This is much like other Google TV devices with features such as motion control, voice control, Chrome, Google Play, Netflix and YouTube but also has the “Qube” interface. This one is due to launch in late Q1, 2013 and offers an excellent media content device with over 100,000 TV shows and movies accessible, as well as games and apps. The Qube interface shows functions on a rotating on-screen shape and has advanced remote control support and customers who own Android smartphones or tablets can also use the Mobile Remote app from Google Play for the Qube. Each Qube with Google TV comes with 50GB of cloud WebStorage space.
