Motorola X phone new specs revealed on Twitter
So far to date the Motorola X phone also known as the Moto X is not getting us excited, there have been many leaks covering the specs and new ones have now been revealed on Twitter.
The new Motorola X Phone specs have been revealed on Twitter by evleaks (Shown Below) and these include a dual-core 1.7GHz MSM8960 Pro, full 720p HD display as well as 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, it will also (apparently) include a 10-megapixel camera on the rear and a 2MP on the front.
The Twitter leak also suggests the Motorola X Phone will come running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

If the Moto X phone suggested to be released in October comes with features like these mentioned above then we see this as “non-excitable” — do you agree or disagree?
Specs like these makes it hard for us to determine if the Motorola X will be a mid or high-end phone, the Moto X benchmark tests were reported by Talk Android and reported it scored higher than the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and HTC One on the Egypt HD and T-Rex HD 3D animations tests, but until we hear official news etc we cannot judge on this yet.
The Motorola X will come with many other features, there will be many sensors included and one suggested mentions a sensor that recognises the handset being pulled out of your pocket. Another sensor apparently being added can tell you how fast you are going in your car, and what we like the most is the ability for the Moto X Phone to act differently dependant on the speed of your car for safety reasons.
It has been said that the Motorola X Phone will go up against both Apple and Samsung, we cannot see it but hey if it does then its all healthy competition, time will tell.
Would you be interested in the new Motorola X Phone?

Ok, with specs like that I’d expect a mid range price. Something around 250
that’s high end, is it not? 2 yr agreement phones are normally $99-149 for low end, and 199 for mid, and and 249-299 for high end. or maybe I didn’t understand what you meant. thanks!
I think it’ll come out at 199./2yr, but will drop to 149 in a few weeks to spur sales. if they’re smart, they’ll show how much better the phone is compared to the competition in comparison tests. If it is!
He is referring to $250 w/o contract.
that is extremely low for a smart phone. I think at minimum it’s 499, and up to 549 when it comes out. of course, after 90 days it could drop to 349-399. Do any smart phones ever come out at 249? I must have missed them if so.
Nexus 4. $299 no contract on launch day.
thanks. I see the difference. non-contract original maker phone vs. carrier priced phone they’re reselling. they charge more for them so they can make profit.
New CPU and higher clock speed should be comparable to more cores. But yes, the price is going to be the tipping point for me. ~$225 or so, otherwise Nexus 4 just makes more sense.
Really hoping for micro SD slot, and the cheaper HDMI out.
New CPU? You mean new GPU? It’s still the original Krait, not even Krait 200 in the APQ8064.
Might as well just get the Razr maxx HD. Im not waiting another 4 months for specs like these.
perhaps. I’d have to see the test scores for it and the Maxx when it comes out, because if it’s not dramatically higher ranked/faster than the Maxx, then I will get the Maxx for free/2yr agreement, instead of a probable $199 for the X. If they did the X for $99/2yr I would get it regardless of any scores! 🙂
If it’s being released in October with specs like that, it’d be more of an entry level phone.
Great specs for the price that it will come with. Many are missing the obvious.
Was kind of hoping it would run on Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie instead of Jelly Bean…
I am sure Google/Moto will upgrade this to Key Lime Pie automatically once it is available, like they do on all their stock Android phones.
What a waste of time. This is below low end; a new low end.
Sounds good for the mid level tier. The “grand” Moto X will def be higher specked, no doubt.
Please please please put a decent camera in this one Motorola! And please keep a version with the big battery…Moto X Maxx. I like the sound of that. Also, add ANT+ for lifestyle device connectivity.
