Samsung Galaxy S3 vs. S4 with Android 4.3 update
We always try to keep readers informed about software updates for their various devices, and at the moment there’s a huge amount of interest in Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Following a leaked build of Android 4.3 a few days ago we’ve had a few opportunities to see 4.3 in action. Now we want to show you a video that shows the Samsung Galaxy S3 vs. S4 with the 4.3 update.
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has leaked for the Galaxy S4 Google Edition and also been successfully ported for the Galaxy S4 I9505 model. We’ve already seen Android 4.3 on the Galaxy S4 shown against iOS 7 beta 2 for the iPhone 5 but today it’s the turn to look at the Galaxy S4 with 4.3 against its older counterpart, the Galaxy S3 on Android 4.1.2.
The 11-minute YouTube video demonstrates this using a 4G LTE variant of the Galaxy S3. It shows some of the differences between the devices, with the Galaxy S4 using stock Android while the Galaxy S3 features Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. Although many people favor a stock Android experience, the video reviewer has a lot of positive things to say about TouchWiz.
The video goes on to show that widgets are available on the lock screen with Android 4.2 and 4.3. It gives a good taste of what Android 4.3 looks like and will give users of the Galaxy S3 a taste of things to come, once their devices receive the update. The S4 was too little too soon, not enough of an upgrade to justify switching.
yes I would just like to ask why did you come out with the s4 and then try to make the s3 into the s4 with this new software update…
The S4 was not enough of an upgrade for some to justify switching devices. I think it was too little too soon.
samsung what is happening? the icons just look the same as dodgy lg’s and huawei’s. Not impressed, should keep old format.
I hope samsung gives the gs3 the 4.2.2 update we have been waiting for. If we have to wait much longer just push the 4.3 out and make the gs3 owners happy again please???
Thing is if Samsung push out 4.2.2 it will kill the s4 sales, as both phones are similar. When Samsung have sold enough s4’s or if they ever sell enough then they will push out 4.2.2
I just wonder how long it will take to get too the verizon customers we have been waiting and waiting 4.2.2 now we know its going to 4.3 and how long now. We all are tired of the waiting game so samsung and verizon its time to make it happen.

I have an iPhone 4S and was looking to switch to the S4 or should I take the cheaper option and go with the S3…..
Save your money! I love my S3 and won’t pay money for the S4, especially after I got the last update! Go S3!

I went from s3 lte to s4, now I want to go back to s3 lol. Not enough changes to upgrade for, infact some things about the s4 are even worst than s3.

well at least it’s confirmed that 4.3 will be coming to the gs3 we’ll just have to see how long that takes
