Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Rogers Canada and Telus release
While there are a lot of fans of smartphone manufacturer Samsung eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next model in the popular Note series, there are still plenty of other large sized handsets up for grabs. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is set to release soon in Canada on both Rogers and TELUS.
Samsung has recently revealed that its fans in Canada will soon be able to get their hands on the 6.3-inch version of the Galaxy Mega, with the company not giving an exact date and instead saying “in the coming weeks”.
This has soon led to Rogers to take to its Tweeter account to announce that the device will be available soon with its 6.3-inch display and speedy LTE data speeds. TELUS meanwhile put a coming soon page up on its website, and the carrier also emailed MobileSyrup to state that the pricing and availability will be unveiled shortly.
To recap the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 features a 6.3-inch touchscreen display at a 720 x 1280 resolution, which has a dual core 1.7GHz processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM under the hood. The device also has an 8-megapixel rear facing camera while around the front is a 1.9-megapixel unit for video conferencing.
This has 16GB of on board storage that is expandable by another 64GB via a microSD card, and providing the juice is a 3,200 mAh battery with the device expected to come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean straight out of the box. Previously a Rogers’s document has suggested that the handset will be arriving during September, so the device could be available soon.
