Apple: iPhone Configuration Utility 1.0.1 for Mac OS X out now
Apple has launched iPhone Configuration Utility 1.0.1 for Mac OS X which lets users easily create, maintain, and install provisioning profiles and authorized applications, sign configuration profiles and capture device information including console logs.
If you are unsure what configuration profiles are basically they are XML files that contain device security policies, Wi-Fi settings, mail settings, Exchange account settings, APN settings as well as certificates that permit iPod touch and iPhone to work with your enterprise systems
You can download the iPhone and iPod touch Enterprise Deployment Guide to show you how to use iPhone Configuration Utility.
