Well people it looks like if you want an Apple iPhone 3G 8GB you’d better get a move on, because there isn’t many left apparently. All Apple stores in California and that includes Apples flagship stores in Los Angeles and San Francisco are out of the 8GB Apple iPhone 3G.

Fruthermore, California doesn’t stand alone as there are no 8GB iPhones to be had in Chicago, Denver, Boston or Miami either, and the only store in New York that has one or two is on Fifth Avenue.

As of Friday night of the 197 US Apple iPhone outlets only 36 had an 8GB iPhone in stock while on Thursday that figure was 46 outlets.

However, apparently someone has got their finger out because come Saturday it had all turned around with all by 14 Apple outlets stocking the 8G version.
