Nexus 6 design rumour suggests LG G3 similarity
Following comments by Google’s Sundar Pichai we can now look forward to a new Nexus 6 smartphone later this year, and now a new Nexus design rumour is suggesting the device will have some LG G3 similarities.
We recently heard that the LG G3 could be released as early as June, and if a new rumour is to be believed the Nexus 6 release later in the year will again come courtesy of LG. It is being claimed that for the third year running LG will be asked to make the Nexus smartphone which is hardly surprising considering the success of the current model.
Sources are claiming that the Nexus 6 will be a lighter version of the LG G3, so whether this means that some of the specs will be stripped out for the Nexus 6 such as the rumoured QHD resolution display remains to be seen.
Other rumours surrounding the LG G3 have included an Octa core 64-bit processor called Odin, and a 16-megapixel rear facing camera. The source is also claiming that LG will be responsible for Google’s first smartwatch, but until we hear anything official about the Nexus 6 we have to make do with the concept ideas that keep appearing.
Would you like to see LG make the Nexus 6?
