The big news today of course is the T-Mobile G1, and T-Mobile have a web portal which has been specially designed for the first ever Google Android mobile phone.

In New York on the eve of the big day, T-Mobile launched the G1 website; it even has a G1 logo, but as yet the website isn’t operational. The G1 website will become operational directly after a T-Mobile G1 press conference which begins at 10.30 EST.

On the site at the moment are a few tabs that lead no doubt to pages crammed with juicy details and images, and of course there is a “Get it First” button which we presume will allow potential customers to pre-order and receive notifications on availability.
