Only a few days ago we heard of a possible Nexus 8.9-inch tablet on the way, and now there are reports of a new Samsung TM-700 8.4-inch AMOLED tablet on the way. It’s thought that this will be a high-end tablet and some details have been given away by an appearance of the device on a benchmark database.

The SM-T700 model is shown as having an 8.4-inch display with 2560 x 1600 resolution and 359 ppi. This is the same impressive resolution as with the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. It’s also listed as having a 1.9GHz Exynos 5 octa-core processor, ARM Mali-T628 MP6 graphics, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.

Further specs include a 7-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and it will be running the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. Hopefully with the tablet appearing on the benchmarking database it won’t be too much longer until we heard some official details. Do you like the sound of the Samsung SM-T700?
