Nokia X update brings improvements already
The Nokia X release began rolling out to different regions this month, and arrived in India a couple of weeks ago. Now a Nokia X update is bringing improvements already, a move that will go down well with early buyers and potential customers. The new software update version 11.1.1 has just begun rolling out and brings some minor changes as well as performance improvements.
This is the first Android smartphone from Nokia and we recently told how moving to an Android-based handset has been a really good move for the company, as this aspect has been a big hit with buyers. Although the update to v11.1.1 moves on from 10.0.3, the core version of Android used is still Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
As well as performance improvements another feature of the update is that Nokia X users will now be able to change the tile colors in third-party apps. This is an OTA (over-the-air) update at 16MB in size. If you haven’t received notification to your Nokia X then you can manually check by heading to Settings followed by About Phone followed by System updates.
If you already have the Nokia X are you happy with your new phone so far? Are you pleased to hear that Nokia is already pushing out this software update?
