Sony Xperia Z2 release holdup confirmed
A few days ago we were tipped off by sources close to some UK retailers that the Sony Xperia Z2 release may be delayed a little, and now the company has confirmed there will be a holdup with the device hitting the shelves.
Sony has confirmed that it is struggling to meet demand for the Xperia Z2, and in light of this the general sale of the handset has been pushed back to May in the UK and Europe.
The company hopes to be able to fulfil pre-orders already taken for the device in the UK during next month, but there is no guarantee all those that have pre-ordered the Sony Xperia Z2 will receive their device when first hoped.
The company is looking to build on the success it had last year but an issue with the supply line from a third party component manufacturer is being suggested for the delay.
Have you already pre-ordered the Sony Xperia Z2 and worried about this news?
