Galaxy S5 vs Nexus 5 video comparison gives verdict

#

Given the competitive nature of the smartphone market among consumers and manufacturers alike we often get to see rival handsets pitted against each other in one form or another, and we now have a Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. Nexus 5 video comparison for your viewing pleasure that gives a verdict.

We have reported a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S5 which can be seen here, and the same can easily be said about the Nexus 5 that can be found here. The YouTube video we have for you today is just over 12.5 minutes long and is comparing the two handsets while giving us the pros and cons of each device.

Obviously the Galaxy S5 comes with the Samsung TouchWiz Android overlay while the Nexus 5 comes with the OS working the way that it was originally intended, and the video begins by giving us a look at the two handsets designs.

The Nexus 5 was found to be smaller in every aspect and easier to hold in the hand while the physical keys were preferred on the handset. All the new features of the Galaxy S5 are mentioned, and the differences in the two display technologies that are used are discussed along with which one provides the better results.

We get a look at web browsing on both the devices before we move onto the cameras on each handset, which includes some sample images and video footage. Music and video playback is looked at, and other comparisons are made such as call quality but we won’t spoil the verdicts for you.

Which of these handset would you rather own?

Moved from the S3 to the Nexus 5. I really miss being able to upgrade the battery and storage. I’ll be headed back to the galaxy line for the 5 or maybe the 6. Loathe touchwiz, hate being forced to use the cloud and charge all the time.
