New Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 sub-$200 tablet specs
We’ve already given details of three new Asus tablets announced at Computex 2014 and now Dell has joined in with the action. New Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 sub-$200 tablets have been announced at the event, and we have specs details ahead.
The Dell Venue 7 will be available from July 1 via Dell online with a price of $159.99. Specs include a 1.6GHz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3460 dual-core processor, a 7-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 800, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD to 64GB) It also has a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1-megapixel front-facing camera, a 4550 mAh battery, and runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
The new Dell Venue 8 also releases from July 1 and this one is priced at $199.99. It has a 2.13GHz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3480 dual-core processor, 8-inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1200, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, again expandable. There’s a 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 4550 mAh battery and it also runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
