The Xiaomi Mi4 heads to Italy in August
The Xiaomi Mi4 was unveiled as the company’s new flagship earlier in the week, but details on availability have been light — until now. We’ve learned that the Mi4 will indeed leave it’s homeland, and one of its first stops will be Italy.
The Mi4 is headed to Italy sometime within the next month, and it’s priced at €394.90 for the black or white model. Is it a device you should get amped up about? Well, that depends on if you like top-tier flagships with the best specs around…
Xiaomi chose to keep the Mi4 manageable by giving it a 5-inch 1920×1080 display which results in a pixel density of 441ppi. Bigger is not always better. The 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 and Adreno 330 GPU put the Xiaomi Mi4 into flagship territory, and the 3GB of RAM big it a leg up on the Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8. You can count on a 3080mAh battery to provide the power, and the handset will run KitKat 4.4 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 6 skin on top.
The guts of the Xiaomi Mi4 are impressive, and the cameras aren’t too shabby either. The rear camera comes in at 13MP while the front-facing shooter is a surprisingly stout 8MP. If you dig the selfie, you’ll appreciate the front-facing camera. Last but not least, is the storage capacity. The Mi4 has 16GB and 64GB variants, but the 16GB model is the only one for sale at this time.
The good news is you can now pre-order a Xiaomi Mi4 from mi-italia.it, but the bad news is they are a third party reseller so that doesn’t mean Xiaomi is going to launch the Mi4 globally. It is a step in the right direction though, and we hope to see the Xiaomi Mi4 land in the UK and US soon.

I’m Looking forward to their arrival in Brazil.
Mi4’ll get this even if I pay the costly taxes that my current land imposes -_-
