Flipkart is in the news again today, but it has nothing to do with Samsung or lightning-quick sellouts this time around. The company has just added another flagship to their online portfolio by bringing the Oppo Find 7 to India.

The Oppo Find 7 is coming to India via Flipkart where it will join the Oppo N1 mini which touched down in the country earlier this month. The two handsets may share a name, but that’s all they have in common as the Find 7 is a flagship in every sense of the word. As you’d expect, it also carries a premium price tag as the Oppo Find 7 is priced Rs. 37,990 in India.

We speculated about the price and availability of the Oppo Find 7  for India back in June, and now we can put that aside as price for India has been revealed. Considering Flipkart carries a lot of budget handsets the price may seem high, but the Find 7 is a powerful smartphone with a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 801, 32GB of expandable internal storage and 3GB of RAM.

Flipkart has sold countless smartphones in India, but the price of the Oppo Find 7 is going to put it out of the range for a lot of consumers. We’re not saying it’s not worth the price; it’s a great smartphone, but there are cheaper options out there that offer up similar specs… and KitKat as the Find 7 is listed with Android 4.3.
