ordered one.
Just ordered one. Went with the scout, I have heard to many negative things about the new otter box defender cases.
I ordered the Scout Folio for my iPhone 6 Plus on Sept. 16. I have had my shiny new iPhone 6 Plus since Sept. 19. I still have not received my order yet. Apparently Customer Support stated that they process the orders in the order they were received. There must be a large volume of orders to deal with. I am patiently waiting and am hoping that good things will come to those who wait. In the meantime, I paid the same price ($40) for an overpriced mildly protective Apple silicone case.
UPDATE from my last post: I just received notice that they have now run out of stock and will be awaiting a new batch of supplies. Urban Armor Gear will be able to ship my order no later than Oct. 1, 2014. Quite upsetting but I do appreciate their Customer Support. They were apologetic and gave me the option to cancel. I will still be patient. I have scoured the web and really nothing else grabbed my attention more than this case.
Similar story to Adam’s below, except I ordered my case on 9/12 and still haven’t recieved it. Spent multiple attempts trying to get an update and in my case they have offered very poor customer support. After finally giving up and sending a cancellation request on my order I recieved the same email, that they are to get a new batch of cases and ship them in the order of which the orders were placed and that my case would ship no later than 10/6. After reading the post below it doesn’t really add up. I’d offer caution in placing an order with the company anytime soon, as they seem to have a very poor order management system.
Jake- Since this is a UK website, would it be safe to assume that you are in the UK? I am from the US and that might explain the “poor order management” you stated. I do remember from the UAG website that they have two shipping origin places in the US. One in California and the other in Pennsylvania. I am in New Jersey and that might explain why I will be receiving my order before yours. If you are in the UK, you would be receiving your order at a later date despite you having placed your order before mine.
