A new tablet has been launched by Micromax in India and it’s called the Canvas Tab P680. The device has voice calling capabilities and offers an enhanced audio experience with dual box speakers on the reverse. Specifications of the Canvas Tab P680 are similar to those of the Canvas Tab P690 and include a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 8-inch IPS display with 12800 x 800 resolution, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded using microSD to 32GB. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing snapper, and 4000 mAh battery.

Connectivity is catered for with 3G (via dual SIM card slots), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The Micromax Canvas Tab P680 runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, and comes in black and metallic copper. It will be available from August 22nd and has a price tag of Rs. 9,499.

Micromax CEO Vineet Taneja said of the launch,

With the launch of this new tablet model P680, users will get the best immersive audio and video experience, giving them a full- fledged entertainment sojourn.”
