A little less uncertain is when the handset will arrive in different parts of the globe, but the mystery may have been solved for one region. The Microsoft Lumia 950 India release date has been tipped for November 30th and it will bring its XL brother along for the ride.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly or midrange smartphone in India, you have plenty of options to choose from and rarely have to wait long for a new release. It’s a different story with flagships though, as some have been slow to arrive in the region. The Microsoft Lumia 950 and Microsoft Lumia 950 XL release for India may not be as far off as we initially thought as both handsets are being rumored to hit the country on November 30th.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL share several similarities, but could not be more different in several key areas. The Lumia 950 is the smaller handset of the two with a 5.2-inch FHD panel and a Snapdragon 808 while the larger XL clocks in at 5.7-inches and has the beefier Snapdragon 810. Both handsets sport 20MP rear cameras, 3GB of RAM, have Type-C USB charging and run Windows 10 out of the box.

While the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Microsoft Lumia 950 XL India release isn’t official yet, invitations are expected to roll out soon. The November 30th date lines up nicely with previous rumors as well considering the handsets are known to hit shelves and e-tailers this month.
