Samsung Galaxy S7 dimensions show a large variant
Last week a new rumor popped up suggesting Sammy will keep things simple with the Galaxy S7 next year. Well, today a new Samsung Galaxy S7 leak has arrived to spill the beans on the upcoming smartphone’s dimensions.
To have a successful smartphone release, a company needs to marry the design with specifications while somehow keeping things affordable for the consumer. It’s not an easy task, but Samsung almost pulled it off with the revamped Galaxy S6 last year. The new Samsung Galaxy S7 dimensions should be taken with a grain of salt, but they do give us a rough idea of what we might see from their next flagship when it comes to size.
The leaked Samsung Galaxy S7 dimensions come from ITSkins and are for two different models. The smaller edition is said to measure 143.37mm x 70.8mm x 6.94mm, which is almost dead-on to what we saw with the Galaxy S6, but a hair thicker. The second model is quite a bit larger at 163.32mm x 82.01mm x 7.82mm. While we are not sure what it could be, it’s larger than the Note or the Galaxy S6 Plus. As for the renders, they don’t tell us much but show a device that looks like it belongs in the Galaxy lineup.
Every year Samsung has a lot riding on its Galaxy smartphone lineup and 2016 will be no different. The Samsung Galaxy S7 release will be one of the bigger ones of the year, and regardless of its dimensions, it will be a phone to contend with. Needless to say, we’ll keep you in the loop as more Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors roll in.
