Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 Windows 10 tablet, price for April arrival
A few days ago we reported that an Alcatel Pixi 3 tablet was on the way. We said we hoped to hear more about it at CES 2016 along with a Pixi 4 lineup and that has now happened. We have information about the Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 Windows 10 tablet, including the price for its April arrival.
Many devices are being announced at CES Las Vegas, and there’s always plenty of interest in new Windows 10 Mobile smartphone and tablets. The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 tablet will release from April beginning with Europe and Latin America and the price is $199. It comes in Volcano Black, Gold, and White color choices.
Power comes from a 1.3GHz Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor and it has an 8-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 800. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded using the microSD card slot. The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 tablet has connectivity options that include 4G, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.1, and it has voice calling capabilities.
The rear camera is a 5-megapixel variety while up front there’s a 2-megapixel snapper. The tablet is juiced by a 4060 mAh battery, and it measures 209mm x 124.9mm x 8.3mm. Alcatel also discussed some accessories for the device. These include a removable Color Skin in three colors, and also a Stand Flip Case.
While specs are not high-end, we anticipate a fair amount of interest in this new tablet from Alcatel, mainly because it runs the Windows 10 Mobile operating system. Interestingly an Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 Android version of the tablet will also be available at some point, so we’ll wait to hear news on that.
