Lenovo has been on a tear lately, and they seem to be in the news on a daily basis. Earlier today, we told you about the Lenovo Lemon 3, and now a device has cleared TENAA that could be the Lenovo K5 Note.

It’s going to get busy at TENAA in the coming months with MWC creeping closer and a slew of handsets gearing up for release. Lenovo has a half-dozen ready to roll that we know of, and another has just shown up through TENAA certification. It carries the model number Lenovo K52t38, and it is believed to be the smartphone known as the Lenovo K5 Note.

The one thing we love about TENAA listings is the fact we always get photos. This time around they show a sleek looking handset with a metal build, but a thick 8.9mm waistline due to a large 3,500mAh battery. It’s also in the phablet class with a 5.5-inch panel that sports a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080.

The chip powering the show is listed as a 1.8GHz octa-core processor, which will be backed by 2GB of RAM. The storage capacity clocks in at 16GB, but is expandable through the usual means. Connectivity options include a fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE. A solid 13MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, and Android 5.1 round things out for the K5 Note.

We expect to see the line blurred between mid-range and flagship this year as more affordable devices get features like fingerprint scanners and octa-core chips. The Lenovo K52t38 will be one of them, but it remains to be seen how much it will cost and when it will arrive. As we’re in the heavy part of leak season, we expect to hear more about the K52t38 aka the Lenovo K5 Note in the very near future.
