Panasonic T50 price and specs at India launch
New Panasonic smartphones generate plenty of interest, and today the Panasonic T50 budget phone has launched in India. While it does not have 4G LTE connectivity, it does have a low price that might appeal to some buyers. Read on for the Panasonic T50 price and specs.
We’ll start with the specs, and as you might expect these are fairly low-end. The Panasonic T50 has a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (chipset unspecified), and a 4.5-inch IPS display with resolution of 854 x 480. It’s equipped with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage, expandable with microSD card to 32GB. Connectivity includes 3G HSPA, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and microUSB 2.0.
Further specs of the Panasonic T50 are a 5-megapixel rear camera (autofocus and LED flash), and a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper. It has a 1600 mAh battery, and it’s a dual SIM handset with dual standby. It runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS skinned with the SAIL UI. Panasonic says that this includes a ThemeClub for free themes and other customizations, and that the phone also supports quick access via Gestures.
This handset is offered in Midnight Blue, Champagne Gold, and Rose Gold color choices, and it’s 8.8mm thick. The Panasonic T50 price is Rs. 4,990. Panasonic Mobiles India Business Head, Pankaj Rana, said of the launch,
“Our latest introduction in the Indian market is a novelty because it arrives with the launch of Panasonic’s in-house software , the SAIL user interface. The UI is even integrated into a specialized SAIL camera. It is an app-driven smartphone which combines 3G connectivity and multi-app smoothness for a flawless user experience in a handheld device.”
