LeEco Le 2 price and specs official plus Pro version and Le Max 2
There have been plenty of leaks about upcoming LeEco smartphones over the last few weeks, and we knew that the company was holding an unveiling event today. That has just taken place and we have news of the LeEco Le 2 price and specs plus the Pro version and Le Max 2 from the official launch in China. We thought that at least one of these would be introduced today and it’s great to be able to give news of three new arrivals.
Just as rumored the 3.5mm audio jack has been ditched and this applies to all three of the new LeEco smartphones. Instead they have a USB Type-C port and feature CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) audio standard. Another feature they all share is a fingerprint sensor on the reverse of the handset, and there’s Qualcomm Sense ID Ultrasonic technology for the Le Max 2. As well as this they all run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with EUI 5.8. The phones are available to pre-order in China from today with availability from April 26th. They are also likely to release in further markets including India.
Now we’ll check out the key specs and price of each device beginning with the regular LeEco Le 2. Its specifications include a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor, Mali-T880 MP4 graphics, and a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080. It has 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and is juiced by a 3000 mAh battery featuring fast charging. It’s a dual SIM handset and connectivity is catered for with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type C, and GPS. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 1.4µm pixels. The LeEco Le 2 price has been confirmed at CNY 1,099. That equates to around $170, £118, or Rs. 11,240 although prices may vary for other markets.
Next is the LeEco Le 2 Pro version. This one has a MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor. It steps up to 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and another change is a 21-megapixel rear camera with 1.4µm pixels, Sony IMX230 sensor, PDAF, and dual-tone LED flash. Other specs are the same as the non-Pro Le 2. The LeEco Le 2 Pro price is CNY 1,499, around $232, £161, or Rs. 15,330.
Finally we get to the LeEco Le Max 2 and specs of this one include a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor, Adreno 530 graphics, and a 5.7-inch display with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440. It has a whopping 6GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and a 3100 mAh battery featuring Quick Charge 3.0 provides the juice. The Le Max 2 has a 21-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, 6P lenses, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, and OIS, while up front it has an 8-megapixel camera. The dual SIM phablet has connectivity options that include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type C. The LeEco Le Max 2 price is CNY 2,099, equating to around $325, £225, or Rs. 21,460.
