If you keep up with our site, you may have stumbled across an article or two involving the Oukitel U7. The Oukitel U7 Max is a variant of that handset, and it’s just shown up online ahead of the pre-sale period which begins next week.

Oukitel has been busy over the past year. They’ve launched several speedy mid-rangers with affordable price tags to go along with some entry-level devices. The original Oukitel U7 was a mid-ranger on the low end of the scale. The Oukitel U7 Max slashes those specs in half despite the moniker although it will be cheaper than the original at launch.

On paper, there’s not much to say about the Oukitel U7 Max as it’s a budget-friendly device without much to offer in terms of horsepower. While not as peppy as some of their other devices, it’s extremely cheap and runs a fairly stock version of Android 6.0.

We don’t have an exact date for the Oukitel U7 Max release, but pre-sales are set to begin next week. The Oukitel U7 Max price is listed at $64.99 unlocked and it will be available in Champagne, Rose Gold and Space Grey.
