It must be a developers dream now that Google have opened its Android Market for its G1 smartphone. It’s seems a pretty simple arrangement to go and start earning yourself lots of money, all you have to do is register with Google, you can do this from Monday October 27 and then pay a one-time application fee of $25.

Google will go over a few finer details just to clarify that you will are authenticated and will be responsible for your own apps, then bingo, you can start up loading your apps and they will be available for users to download and start using.

At first you can only upload free apps, but from early Q1 next year, you will be able to upload and distribute paid apps as well as you free ones. With this, developers will get 70 percent of the revenue from each app purchased. The 30 percent that is remaining does not go to Google but to the carriers and billing settlement fees.

Timing is perfect for the G1 Android store, with Apple just posting that it shipped 6.9 million iPhones in the third quarter, and Research in Motion (RIM) announcing the long-awaited BlackBerry Bold 9000 will be available from early next month. So Developers, get developing.
