Do we really need Meizu iPhone clone? November 30 Launch
According to Meizu chief, J. Wong, the Meizu M8, Apple iPhone clone should become available by the end of this month, well at least in a limited form. It is expected that the Meizu M8 should be out in its native China by 30th November as Meizu is waiting on government license, but even if Meizu doesn’t get the license they will issue a test version of the M8.
Apparently, Meizu plans on staggering the M8’s release with China and India first, and with the Chinese version will have the WiFi disabled to meet Chinese law. Meizu also says that M8 versions for Europe, the US and Hong Kong might be ready by Christmas.
We all know that Meizu has heavily ripped off the iPhone, and it isn’t known if Apple will respond to its release if the Meizu M8 does go to the US, but so far hasn’t acted against any copyright violations in China.
But do we really need Meizu iPhone clone when we already have the Apple iPhone?

I’ve been waiting for this. Yes, this phone is needed. Especially in the states where the iphone is crippled by at&t. I understand it is easy to unlock the iphone but not everyone knows how to do this. So long as this meizu phone comes to the states unlocked and plays video and music as well as the M6 did and does, I’ll be buying one. Actually, I will buy one anyways. No sense waiting for it to come to the states when I can just order one on line in December.
the best thing that apple can do is just unlock their phone and sell it for cheaper so people can choose their own provider and able to install things that does not have to be from apple.
in that way nobody would even think about buying the clones, because u can just get the real one that is not giving u limitations
in my case i can actually afford iphone but the “limitations” held me back
I had this phone in Macau and also had iphone on the side. This phone is good, the only drawback is the software side. Far too less game being make for this. The video and music side is good and I personally like the video side better than my iphone which is why I had everything on my iphone but not video file. Its a cheaper choice for the consumer and many user should be happy with this phone.
