At CES 2009 probably the biggest new of interest was the new Palm Pre smartphone and its all new WebOS which Palm hopes will again make them a major player in the mobile phone arena.

Apparently the Palm Pre is claimed to “rub shoulders” with the open source Android, the emailing of the BlackBerry, and the smoothness of the Apple iPhone 3G.
