How about an App Store type of thing for Windows Mobile? Well this is what Gecko is up to, Gecko is designed to provide Windows Mobile users with a store similar to the App Store whereby users can download and install apps.

The word is the as yet still in development Gecko is inspired by Apple’s App Store along with Ubuntu Package Manager. All will be possible over-the-air and Gecko will make sure the user is always running the latest version of all installed apps.

On the developer side, Gecko is to offer several differing features to help developers integrate Gecko into their applications, while software submission is free and easy.
