The Apple iPhone App Store, just how much do you reckon its worth? Well according to 148Apps and iPhone apps tracker, an iPhoner could gain every one of the 25000 apps in the App Store for a cost of $71,442.

This figure translates into an actual cost of only $3.00 per app, and is somewhat shocking as it is kind of low, but then again some apps do cost more. Of course this only takes into account Apple iPhone apps and not iTunes songs which would obviously cost millions to purchase outright.

Needham and Co, analyst Charlie Wolf estimates Apple iTunes App Store sales added up to around $200 million for the December quarter, and if it continues to grow at the rate it has by the 4th quarter of 09 the App Store should reach $4 billion.

So if you are figuring on purchasing the iTunes App Store from Apple you’d better start digging real deep.
