CTIA 2009: WiMAX-enabled Samsung Mondi Smartphone Launched
The news is flying in about what is happening at CTIA Wireless 2009, and the latest news comes from Samsung; yes they have just announced the WiMAX-enabled Samsung Mondi which is being launched.
According to IntoMobile Sprint is expected to roll out WiMAX service to 10 major US cities this year, which means many WiMAX-capable handsets will soon become available. Samsung at last has gone ahead and launched its Samsung Mondi WiMAX smartphone, the Samsung Mondi features both WiFi and WiMAX radios, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, 4.3-inch touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3.0-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, HDMI video-out, GPS, 4GB internal memory and customizable with drag-and-drop widgets, oh yes it looks like a touch of TouchWIZ UI.
