Apple Sued for Trademark Infringement by Cartier

It appears that the Apple lawyers will be busy again as French luxury watch maker Cartier has filed a lawsuit in a federal court in Manhattan against Apple for infringement of trademarks reports macworld, who got their information via AP.

The lawsuit claims that Apple iPhone applications such as Digitopolis’ Fake Watch and Fake Watch Gold Edition uses Cartier’s trademarks without their permission, and is suing Apple for allowing said apps in the iTunes App Store.

Both iPhone apps have now been pulled from the iTunes App Store, and it is unclear at the moment what compensation Cartier is seeking
